Analysis of Simple Multi story Thin Film Greenhouse

The main characteristics of a simple film connected greenhouse are its simple structure and flexible and diverse forms. (1) Simple structure: Due to the characteristics of the covering material, the load-bearing structure, fixed film system, and installation requirements of plastic greenhouses are relatively simple. Its load-bearing structure adopts hot-dip galvanized light steel or ordinary steel structure, generally using hot-dip galvanized light steel structure, and the prefabricated structure is preferred. The main steel framework of the greenhouse (Geshan Greenhouse) is mainly composed of columns, surrounding beams, top arch rods, top tie rods, crossbeams, cross braces, and gutters. The top longitudinal members are used as tie rods, greatly simplifying the structure and reducing the amount of steel used.

At the same time, when the greenhouse is non mechanically connected to the roof using covering materials, the roof only bears gravity load and positive wind pressure, and transmitting the wind pressure to the gutters and columns greatly optimizes the stress on the greenhouse structure.

(2) Flexible and diverse sizes: Due to the structural characteristics of multi story greenhouses and the influence of regional and customer demands in the development process of large plastic film greenhouses, countries around the world produce and promote plastic greenhouses based on their own standards. Therefore, a large number of plastic film connected greenhouse products with different forms and specifications have been formed, such as circular arched roof greenhouses with different spans and roof shapes, double arched pointed roof greenhouses, serrated greenhouses, small arched multi roof greenhouses, etc. Therefore, it is difficult to summarize and describe the individual dimensions of plastic greenhouses so far. This allows for flexible design of spans and openings according to customer requirements to meet the design needs of different terrain sizes.

The maintenance of the multi span greenhouse building is mainly the maintenance of the skeleton structure. For the covering materials, it is mainly to improve the ability to prevent fragmentation and aging, to resist the wind and sun, and to achieve the purpose of light transmission and heat preservation. So, reinforcement measures should be taken, and once any leaks are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner. Long term use of greenhouses can cause dust to accumulate on the film, greatly reducing the light transmittance. Therefore, according to the pollution situation in each region, regular cleaning of greenhouse films should be carried out to maintain the transmission ability of light. Especially for plastic multi story greenhouses that overwinter, this work is very important in early spring when the temperature is low. The cleaning of the film should be carried out during sunny midday and high temperature periods in the afternoon.

The cleaning of the greenhouse film in a connected greenhouse can be done using a homemade long handled soft bristled brush, which can be used to spray pressurized water onto the greenhouse roof with a hose. The cleaning can be carried out step by step, using a triangular ladder or scaffold. During the use of the greenhouse, if the film is loose, it will be hit up and down by the wind, which is very easy to cause film damage. If the film is found to be loose, it should be tightened and installed in a timely manner; Film rupture is also inevitable during long-term use, but it should be repaired promptly. The repair method can be achieved by using specialized plastic film adhesive tape for patching, or by covering a new layer of film within a certain range.
